Chai Ada

Good Food Is Our Passion

Chai Ada isn’t just about tea—it’s about the experience. It’s about transporting our guests from the hustle and bustle of London into a space where time slows down, and tradition comes alive. The fusion of rural and urban, of old-world charm and modern vibrancy, is reflected not only in our tea but in the very walls of our shop. The art that adorns our space is inspired by the same artistic expression found on the trucks that crisscross the roads of Pakistan, carrying stories from one town to another.

Life saver!! I had gone for hours without food or drink so this saved me a headache on the bus ride home. The service was so lovely and friendly. The vegetable samosa was delicious at only 1.50 you can’t go wrong. Chai Karak was 2.50 and extra hot which I love. You should never have to ask for your drink to be extra hot but unfortunately that’s always the case. Not here though! I love that. 🧡 Atmosphere is nice and colourful and there are a few chairs out front which is good.

Nice place for a cheap eat, but be careful what you order as it’s hard to gauge portion size from the photos. We had trouble finding the place initially. Tip: From Westfield shopping centre, follow the signs for the bus station at level -2 as it’s right in the middle of the bus station. One table outside for 4 and 2 tiny tables inside for 2 each, plus a counter for 3-4 customers. When we arrived it wasn’t busy, which was a good thing as there was only one lady running the store. Not knowing much about Asian (ie. Indian subcontinent) cuisine, we randomly pointed to things which looked nice in the photos. I was a bit surprised at the £40 bill (2 adults and 2 children), and suspected that we may have over-ordered. It turned out that instead of 3 mains and 2 side dishes, it was more like 5 main dishes that arrived at our table. I exaggerate a little, but we were honestly surprised at the amount of food that came.Food was very nice and mostly ok for the kids, not too spicy, apart from the meat in the mutton biryani. Despite that, it was my favourite dish.In summary, nice place, great taste and value for money, but very small and either go when it’s quiet or I hope they have more than one person serving during busy times.

Went here after reading raving reviews to try some street food with chai. Unfortunately most of the menu wasn’t available and apparently no signs of fresh food being prepared (at least I didn’t see).Chai was decent though. Pretty decor too.

Their Kadak Tea is the best I have tasted during our trip to London. The consistency, the right ratio of sweet to tea.. was just perfect! I highly recommend to anyone who loves the traditional Indian chai

Very pretty little chai spot, I definitely recommend a visit! I’m inclined to rate it at 5 but I found it lacked just a little. It’s new & the concept is great, inviting people to see the beauty of the Pakistani Truck Art is commendable. I love the idea and appreciate the effort spent on it!The workers seemed a little confused/untrained, they were pretty slow it took a while for just 3 drinks. It’s also best for takeaway, it’s really small. But the hot drinks are tasty. The shake portion is generous, little too sweet.I would definitely visit again. The chai was the best!! So beautiful!
